Man suffers injuries to ‘face and torso’ in late-night attack

The incident took place on Saturday 1 June between 10pm and 11pm near the bottom of Wellington Hill.

A States police spokesman said: ‘A man in his early fifties was walking home, when he passed a couple who were arguing. The male party then assaulted him causing him injuries to his face and torso, but he did not go to hospital.

‘The attacker is described as white, approximately 5ft 10in, slim build, in his mid to late twenties, with curly, wavy dark hair, that went over his ears. He was wearing shorts and a T-shirt and he had sleeve tattoos on both arms. He was with a woman who appeared younger, possibly in her early twenties, petite build, approx. 5ft 5in with either fair or light brown hair.’
