A round of golf with former world number one and Masters winner Ian Woosnam is one of the notable lots up for grabs. The lucky bidder and two of their friends will be able to play 18 holes at La Moye Golf Course while enjoying complimentary coffee and bacon rolls with Mr Woosnam.
Bidding for one of the auction’s ‘Star Lots’– a 30-minute flight in a Spitfire – is already up to £3,250.
Other top prizes on offer include lunch with local businessman Kevin Keen, who will host a meal for the successful bidder at a top Jersey restaurant and answer their questions; lunch and a guided tour of Digital Jersey with chief executive Tony Moretta, featuring a two-hour session with experts in the bidder’s chosen digital field; and the chance to sell a house of up to £1m
value with zero commission.
The remaining 200-plus items on offer this year can be viewed online at jerseychristmasappeal.je.
A full listing of the lots is to appear in the Jersey Evening Post on Saturday 5 December, before the live broadcast of the auction on Sunday 6 December, which will be hosted by Channel 103.
