UPDATE: Jersey police 'increasingly concerned' for welfare of missing man

Thomas Frost (35227565)

THE police say they are ‘increasingly concerned’ for the welfare of a man who went missing at the weekend.

Thomas Frost, who is married with children, left his parents’ house at L’Etacq, in St Ouen, at some time between 10pm on Saturday and 1am Sunday.

There have since been no confirmed sightings of him.

Up to 30 officers are involved in the operation, carrying out house-to-house inquires and using the Fire and Rescue Service’s inshore RIB to search Val de la Mare reservoir.

A drone has also been deployed along the north coast and the Channel Islands Air Search plane has conducted numerous sweeps of the western parishes.

Although the search has focussed on the west of the Island, the States police has asked people across Jersey to check their sheds and outbuildings in case Mr Frost has sought shelter.

The force are also appealing for anyone in the western parishes that has dash-cam footage, private CCTV, doorbell cameras or cameras on hedge-veg boxes to contact them.

Mr Frost is described as 5ft 10in tall, of medium build with greying hair.

It is likely he is wearing a crimson red T-shirt underneath a navy shirt with white buttons and navy jeans.

He could also be wearing a light grey hoodie over his shirt. Police still believe he could be barefoot.

Anyone with information should call police on 01534 612612, option 2, option 4.
