EMERGENCY services responded to an incident at Corbière on Sunday evening.
In a statement released at 6pm, the States police asked Islanders to avoid the area.
The road down to the lighthouse slipway was blocked off by police officers but Mont Du Grouet remained open.
Jersey Fire and Rescue Service, the ambulance service and police all attended the incident.
