Man accused of Dean and Charlie Lowe 'hit-and-run' deaths to appear in Royal Court

A MAN accused of causing the deaths of Dean Lowe (48) and his 11-year-old son Charlie in a suspected hit-and-run is due to appear in the Royal Court on Friday.

Dylan John Pounds (29) allegedly caused the deaths in a collision on Rue de Fauvic in Grouville on 5 August last year.

Mr Pounds faces two counts of causing death by dangerous driving, one count of failing to stop and report an accident, one count of dangerous driving and one count of possession of a controlled drug.

In a separate indictment containing two charges, he is alleged to have been concerned in the supply of a controlled drug.

Mr Pounds appeared in the Magistrate’s Court in February and was bailed until today’s court appearance.
