THE continued service of more than a dozen Coastguard officers has been recognised with King’s Coronation medals.
Ports of Jersey has announced that 13 Coastguard officers have received the medal, which is being given to frontline members of the emergency services who had completed five years’ continued service by the date of the Coronation last year.
The Coastguard’s medals were handed out at a private ceremony at Maritime House, while eligible members of the Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting Service are also due to receive theirs later this year.
Recipients of the medals from the Coastguard team are: Bill Sadler, Ford Ramsden, Nathan Elms, Tim Hilditch, Robin Fitzgerald, Louise Stafford, Alex Thelland, Dan Downey, Andrew Letto, Chris Robinson, Luke De La Haye, Fleur Moisan and Andrew Scott-Miller.
