BUSINESSES wanting to be involved in the 2025 Barclays Jersey Boat Show are now able to register for the event.
With just over nine months to go until the boat show, which will take place from 3 to 5 May, potential exhibitors and catering concessions have been invited to sign up.
Harbourmaster Bill Sadler said the 2025 edition would maintain the show’s status as the largest free-entry public event in the Channel Islands. More than 30,000 people attended this year, which featured 66 landside exhibitors, 41 caterers, and 52 boats on display across St Helier Marina, the Albert pontoon and quayside.
“We’re thrilled to be, once again, presenting the finest of the Island’s maritime community,” he said. “The Barclays Jersey Boat Show has grown into a much-anticipated event, and we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the harbour.
“Feedback from this year’s exhibitors was overwhelmingly positive, with many noting the event’s strong influence on sales and customer interest in their products.”
Ports of Jersey is seeking to make further strides towards making the event more sustainable and environmentally conscious, with exhibitors required to meet restrictions on items such as balloons and confetti which could end up in the sea.
Organisers are also encouraging businesses attending the event to use Velcro straps rather than cable ties, to reuse banners for future shows, and to limit their use of single-use plastics and polystyrene for items such as straws, food and drink containers, cutlery and carrier bags.
Full details of the attractions for 2025 are yet to be finalised, but it is expected that the Royal Navy will return having been present at many boat shows since the event was launched in 2008.
Exhibitor registration, including catering, is now open at jerseyboatshow.com.
