Jersey is no stranger to the captivating spectacle of sea mist, a phenomenon that emerges from the delicate dance of temperature, humidity, and air pressure. When balmy, moisture-laden air meets the cool embrace of the ocean or another chilled water body, the air temperature takes a nosedive.

Consequently, relative humidity surges, ultimately forcing the surplus moisture to condense into minuscule water droplets. This reaction births a low-lying veil of cloud-like fog, known as sea mist, that hugs the coastline.

Local wind patterns and topography also play their parts, either scattering or accumulating the mist along the shore, leaving us with an enchanting and otherworldly visual display.
