How else would England’s cricketing superstars get to the Test than on the Tube?

If you managed to drag yourself out of bed early this Saturday morning and hopped on the Underground, you might have been lucky enough to see something a little out of the ordinary.

Shunning fancy buses or private taxis, the England cricket team proved they really are just like us by taking the Tube to The Oval.

Luckily, Joe Root was on hand to capture Stuart Broad having a cheeky stare at himself.

Unfortunately, Broad doesn’t seem particularly keen on the huge picture of himself, judging by his Instagram post a few days ago.

The team were en route to day three of the Third Test against South Africa, and were no doubt in high spirits after a particularly good day on Friday, largely thanks to the promising debut of Toby Roland-Jones who took the first four wickets.

Hopefully there weren’t any delays on the Northern line, because that would be an awkward reason to be late to your own cricket match.
