Jersey Bulls held at home, leaders also draw

Jersey Bulls drew 1-1 with Farnham Town

JERSEY BULLS dropped points for the first time in nine games on Saturday afternoon but it remains ‘as you were’ at the top of Combined Counties Premier South, after leaders Walton & Hersham were held by bottom side Molesey.

The Island club drew 1-1 with Farnham Town at Springfield, with Daryl Wilson’s first-half tap-in being cancelled out by Max Blackmore within five minutes of the restart.

The result marks just the second time in Bulls’ history that they have failed to claim all three points from a home league clash. They remain seven points off the top, with three games in hand, while Beckenham Town sit two points further back having played one game fewer than Gary Freeman’s men.

Full report and reaction in Monday’s JEP.
