UPDATE: A Spitfire WILL perform at the Air Display

Planes – including the Baltic Bees display team, the unusual-looking SeaStar sea plane and the Swedish fighter jets – are among those which have arrived in the Island.

However, the A400 transport plane will no longer be performing a fly-past as it is now being used in the Hurricane Irma aid mission.

There will also be no full Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. The Hurricane and Spitfire from the official team cannot make it due to the weather conditions.

However, the Lancaster will be here and, after some frantic searching, organisers have secured another Spitfire.

The Bronco was also unable to make it to Jersey on Wednesday due to the strong winds but was expected to arrive on Thursday morning.
