Almost every scheduled arrival into Jersey Airport was delayed or cancelled on Monday morning. One flight – the 8 am easyJet arrival from Gatwick – has been delayed until 6.50 pm. Several departing flights were also disrupted.
And many of those stuck in the UK have been told there are no available flights until tomorrow. Some have been informed the next available easyJet flight from Gatwick to Jersey is Thursday.
The fog is expected to lift later on Monday but further foggy and cloudy conditions are forecast for Tuesday.
