Ushered out of the rain and into the forest of flowers, she was greeted by the Deputy Bailiff, Michael Birt, who presented Trinity Constable John Gallichan and trustee and chairman Laurie Monument.She spent an hour looking at the work of the foundation before leaving for the Jersey Cheshire Home, which she last visited 20 years ago to perform the official opening and for which the late Eric Young was the main benefactor.Yesterday Her Royal Highness started her short visit to Jersey by calling in at Headway House, where she spent time chatting with staff and members.
