And Jersey Hospitality Association chief executive Gerald Fletcher contends the service proposals are so bad it could be argued they are ‘shock tactics’ designed to lever more public subsidy from the States than the £1.8m budgeted for next year.Mr Fletcher has written to Environment and Public Services president Deputy Maurice Dubras on behalf of a number of prominent tourism industry bodies to protest about the service cutbacks.He pointed out in the letter that there will be no bus services to the Living Legend, La Mare Vineyards, the Orchid Foundation, the Steam Museum or the Butterfly Farm under the proposed Connex schedules.
