In event one, the boys’ 200m individual medley, Antoin Le Fèvre continued to show impressive form through his committed training programme by setting a new PB as he won the event in 2.20.96.

Peter Baudains was placed second with the ever-improving Robin Johnston finishing third.In event two, the girls’ 200m individual medley, Katie Speller took four seconds off her previous best time and set a new club record in a time of 2.37.70.

Joanna Huelin finished in second place with Abigail Faudemer placed third.

In the men’s 200m freestyle Le Fèvre again swam an exceedingly strong and consistently impressive freestyle as he took just over four seconds off his previous best and set a new club record in a time of 2.02.82.

Baudains was again placed second with Robin Johnston improving considerably on his previous best time in finishing third.In the final event of the evening, the ladies’ 200m freestyle, Abigail Faudemer took two seconds off her previous best time to set a new club record in a time 2.15.60.

Katie Speller swam well to finish in second place with Joanna Huelin placed third.

During the competition several other Jersey Swimming Club members achieved PBs and showed that the commitment and dedication they have made to training is really paying off.
