The incident happened between 3.30 pm and 4 pm yesterday afternoon near the junction of Rue de Samares and Rue du Maupertuis.
The 14-year-old was cycling when he was knocked from his bike by a white Nissan Juke. The female driver stopped briefly and spoke with the boy before leaving the area.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident.
The driver is described as being in her forties with hazel hair, light brown eyes and freckles. She was wearing a blue jacket at the time.
