Here are some of Prince George’s top moments from the last year:
– Carefree in the Chelsea garden
George and his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, enjoyed a playful day out in the Duchess of Cambridge’s Back To Nature wilderness garden.
The prince and Charlotte dangled their bare feet over the stream and climbed into the treehouse, while Louis ran along a wooden path clutching a twig.
George, happily swinging on the rope swing, shouted “20” when asked by the Duke of Cambridge what marks he would give Kate’s co-designed garden out of 10.

– On the Palace balcony
George made his annual appearance at Buckingham Palace for the Trooping the Colour celebrations in June.
But the prince, on the balcony for the fifth time, amused royal fans with his less than enthusiastic facial expressions.
In October, the Queen’s granddaughter, Princess Eugenie, walked up the aisle to marry her fiance Jack Brooksbank in St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, and George and Charlotte were asked to be pageboy and bridesmaid.
George giggled with glee as he sat on his grandfather’s lap during a royal family portrait taken in the gardens of Clarence House.

The rare images of the Prince of Wales with his grandchildren, sons, daughters-in-law and the Duchess of Cornwall were released to mark Charles’s 70th birthday in November.
Soon afterwards, he joked with a mother at a toddler group in Dorset: “My grandchildren wear me out, I don’t know how you do it.”
– The Cambridges’ Christmas card
A grinning George joined his family for their annual Christmas card photo.
The young prince playfully held on to his father while standing one-legged in wellies on a tree trunk.

Royal fans were surprised to see the prince in jeans as he usually wears shorts – often the custom for young royal boys.
