Karina Horman, from St Brelade’s Bowls Club, has secured the singles berth while Liz Cole, from the Sun Bowls Club, will skip the triples joined by bowlers from Spain and Portugal.David Le Marquand, from the Jersey Bowls Club, has also secured the men’s singles place in the team while fellow club member Derek Boswell and Frank Hambly, from St Saviour’s Bowls Club, will play in the triples along with a bowler from Portugal.The Asian team will consist of the bowlers who win gold in this year’s Asian Games, currently taking place and finishing on 13 July.At the end of the 12-game Test series the Europeans travel to Langkawi to play against a Malaysian select team, eventually returning to the UK on 20 July.
