With the nomination meeting being held at the parish hall tonight at 8 pm, it leaves two declared candidates – retired Brigadier Bruce Willing and financial adviser Dan Murphy – in the running to replace Frank Amy, who has resigned because of ill health.Mr Cadoret said that after much thought and deliberation he would not allow his name to go forward.
‘There are two nominations and I believe that if I stand, it will split the vote, which would not be in the interests of the parish,’ he said.
