The Scotland rugby international is off to Bermuda next weekend to play in a classic rugby tournament.’It has been a fantastic year for me,’ the Jersey woman said.
‘I played at Murrayfield last year as my grandfather had done, and now I’ve been selected for this Lions tour.
He played for a a Lions team.’The Bermuda tournament is a Four Nations Classic – ‘That means we’re over 30,’ Christie explained.She has been training quite hard through the summer, the first time she has trained as intensively throughout, and she said she feels strong and fit and has noticed the improvement in those areas.Having taken only a few days off work since the end of last season, she is looking forward to visiting Bermuda and hopes to see something of the island while she is there.
