National Trust oppose Trinity biking track

Both the Constable and Deputy of the parish support the club’s application to continue to use the land at Chemin de la Belle Hougue every Saturday between 11 am and 4 pm for a further 12 months, but it has upset the Trust.Chief executive officer Charles Alluto said he wrote to the committee last year about the use of the site, and never received a formal response.

‘We were extremely disappointed to never have received a formal response from Planning to our concerns.’Now that the area has been properly designated an Area of Outstanding Character, we feel it’s more important that such activities are not allowed to compromise the natural beauty of the north coast.’
