In this day and age, I do not believe it is acceptable that unelected officials should play a key role in the democratic process without a mechanism that holds their actions to account.’The fact that the response from the Privy Council does not give any information as to why these aspects of the prayer have been rejected is not acceptable in my opinion,’ he said.
