In what is believed to be the first move of this kind by the States police, this independent advisory group will be informed about the way the investigation is going and be able to challenge senior officers about any aspect of the case.
Those invited by police chief Graham Power to be in the group are the Rector of Trinity, the Rev Geoff Houghton, solicitor Carol Canavan, former Chamber of Commerce president Kevin Keen , businessman Stephen Regal and data protection commissioner Emma Martins.
