IT would appear that not only are some retailers increasing their prices over and above 3% to cover GST but the States of Jersey are at it as well.
The monthly season ticket for public car parks was increased from £88 to £92 earlier this year.
An additional 3% would amount to £2.76 but I have just paid £95 for a ticket for June – rounded up by an extra 24p – a nice little earner and what an example to set!
