Between 7.30 pm and 8:10 pm on Friday 17 November, the moped is reported to have been ridden the wrong way along Halkett Place, before turning onto Minden Place. It was later seen on James Street and Don Road.
The rider was also reported to have skipped through several red traffic lights at the Don Road junction by the Mornington Hotel, before crashing into a car on the junction between St Clement’s Road and La Colomberie.
The police would like to identify anyone who may have witnessed these events. They are also trying to identify the driver of a dark coloured SUV, which was stopped at the traffic light junction of Don Road and Mont Millais during the incident.
