The chocolate-coloured spaniel went missing from a property near St Saviour’s Hospital at about 7.30 pm on Sunday. It was found badly injured in Rue Horman in Grouville, near to the former Jersey Pottery site, at about 7.20 am on Monday.
The States police said: ‘We believe the dog was hit by a car sometime overnight and suffered multiple injuries. The dog is currently in a stable condition at the vets.’
