Three crashes in 40 minutes on Jersey’s roads

In the first accident, at 8.22 am, a motorbike and a Toyota Prius collided in St Saviour’s Road. The 22-year-old motorbike rider was taken to the Emergency Department.

A short time later, at about 8.30 am, a lorry and a car collided in a minor accident in La Verte Rue, near St Mary’s School. No one was injured.

And at about 9 am a motorbike and a silver Nissan Qashqai collided at the junction of Rouge Bouillon and Clarendon Road. The 17-year-old motorbike rider was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. The road was closed and the States police urged motorists to avoid the area.
