A FORMER States police officer has appeared in the Magistrate’s Court charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Elle Rebecca Keens spoke only to confirm her name, address and date of birth during the brief hearing in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
The court heard that the 28-year-old, whose parents were sat in the public gallery, resigned from the States police in May last year.
Assistant Magistrate Adam Clarke decided not to grant her bail and she was remanded in custody to return to the court on 5 April.
