But Melbourne Renegades spinner Brad Hogg may have taken it a step too far during the Big Bash League clash with his former franchise Perth Scorchers on Monday.

The 46-year-old was signing a cap for a fan when the ball squirted towards deep third man and Hogg shelled the opportunity, much to the amusement of the WACA crowd.
Former Australia international Hogg saw the funny side though, lapping up the applause before doing some press-ups as punishment.
